Episode Eighteen is a conversation brimming with wisdom, empowerment and unapologetic authenticity.
Stacey-Ann Sukharrie is employed in the Financial Services industry as a Senior Manager, she is the Director of Communications for Empowered in my Skin and a transformational leader in Business Banking. Growing up in Toronto, ON Canada as a transplant from Trinidad and Tobago, Stacey-Ann shares her journey of immigrating, intersectionality, healing and empowerment. She is passionate about writing, bringing Karissa to tears during the podcast recording as Stacey-Ann reads aloud her poem titled 'Ritualized Healing'.
On the verge of turning 40, Stacey-Ann made the courageous and conscious effort to publish her writing, which is now proudly displayed in Solstice Literary Magazine and The Globe & Mail. Additional pieces will be published later this year.
